I purchased a corsair psu and set replace the old 400w psu.
The old system work just fine but i think i should upgrade my gear a bit, so order the new 550w psu.
Went trun the switch on, i could hear sound created by the circuit breaker. Cpu fan works a bit but soon no more. Light on the graphic card ndo not light up which mean there is no power at all.
Plug in old psu, everything work with no issue.
Test the new unit, the psu fan works means it is not dead.
Btw, my motherboard is old model with 4pin cpu slot and 20pin motherboard slot. But i dont think this would be the issue because the psu provide 4+4 pin for cpu and 20+4 pi for motherboard.
