I've been helping my friend build a PC for his upcoming birthday for about a month now. The parts I've picked were used for him to upgrade in the future since he plans on learning more about computers. So I purchased all the parts and started building. Unfortunately I ran into a problem where my Motherboard would light up, fans would spin, but nothing would come up on display.

I eventually took the components apart and reassembled them. After messing around with the build for about 3 hours I finally got some display. I downloaded Windows 10 through a USB flash drive and it finished with no issue then

I shut everything down and went to bed. I woke up a couple hours later and decided to see how the PC was. But no display came up after powering on. The same issue as earlier began again.

This PC isn't my first build. My first build never dealt with this issue. I'm lost and I don't know what else to do. I've tested the GPU and it worked fine in my other pc. If anyone has any insight, I would deeply appreciate it

Solution
Try removing every component until it starts. Basically this means:
Remove the GPU, try one stick of RAM only, check all your cables.

If the fans are working and the computer starts, turn the screen on and then off again, it might have fallen into hibernation mode. If you have the luxury of having spare parts lying around, you can even try them onto a new motherboard.

Basically try each and every one of your parts until you find what's faulty. (Or if it's not faulty, what hasn't been installed properly)

Moreover, sometimes the computer won't start when the GPU or RAM isn't plugged all the way in. You could try and push it a bit further inside until it clicks into place.

When you put Windows 10 on there , did you purge all the partitions (on the USB stick) before, or did you use windows to do it for you? Incomplete partitions can cause problems.
Try again, but this time delete everything in the USB stick, use a partition manager to do it properly. Then, after it's all clean and good, use the windows provided USB drive maker. Try installing the OS again and hopefully it will work.

The USB stick was brand new and I still cleaned the stick just in case. The problem I'm running into is the same as when I didn't install Windows. It won't post at all, not even into bios. So I wouldn't even be able to reinstall windows.
