I've got a corsair mouse and keyboard but the corsair software * up my mouse so i'm wondering if I can disable it for my mouse? because i can't use the keyboards lighting switch and can't use win lock.

Solution

If it is a known problem that is your best bet. I can't recall if there is a Corsair forum but you might check there as well if anyone else has a solution.

The harpoon is their cheapest mouse both in quality and price. If you can spare the few extra $$$ I highly recommend the Sabre RGB. I haven't had a single problem with mine and the 5 sensitivity controls come in extra handy when playing different genres. Especially useful if you already have a keyboard with a lot of macros like I do, otherwise I would get the Scimitar. It's more generalized across all genres so it is not specialized like the Scimitar or the M65.

Download the latest version of CUE and restart your computer. If that happens also try unplugging the peripherals and plugging them back in. That usually works for me.

I have the K95 Keyboard, Sabre RGB Mouse, MM800 Polaris Mousepad, and VOID wired headset, I use CUE more than most, ending the program via task manager and/or unplugging and replugging the peripherals almost always works for me.

The only problem I have ever had that I can't solve is Alt codes don't work, I think I have to program them in, and I'm really just too lazy to do it. The macros are legit though on the k95.

I've tried like everything. always when i have CUE running in the background the mouse sensitivity changes randomly between two settings and i've tried everything for it to work and I didn't get it work.

Which mouse is it? Because most of them have a button to change the sensitivity on the fly. Most of them can also be macro'd to change.

Obviously you haven't tried EVERYTHING because something is bound to work. Have you tried contacting Corsair to troubleshoot the problem? That is a much better option than a general PC forum. For example, this popped up in the Graphics Card forums.....

I like to use the higher sensitivities for fps, the mid sensitivity for MMOs and RPGs, and the lower ones just for browsing and older games with poor sensitivity control. It takes a bit longer to set up but the RGB,s are pretty awesome and the sensitivity control is amazing. Well worth the extra $$$ imho.
