7700k vs 6800k

alright boys which one would you recommend? i dont wanna buy ryzen And kaby lake x isnt available where i live now. i really wanna kinda futureproof my computer for atleast 3 years, i have the gtx 1080 but should i go for 6800k or 7700k, plus i have a pretty generic 60hz 1440p monitor.

both are almost same there is only 9% increase in performance as mentioned here you can check everything here

7700k will give you higher fps in games. If you want to edit then the 6800k is better. My guess...get the 7700k. Choice should be 7700k vs Ryzen 7 1700. Still 7700k wins.
