I have GTX 970 GPU, with 1x HDMI, 1x DVI, 2x Display ports. I have standart Monitor in the HDMI port, Graphic tablet display in DVI port and I used to have TV display plugged in Display port, but there are always some problems with it, getting "No signal" now and then. That is driving me crazy, so I wan't a more stable solution.

I tried several cables, Displayport to HDMI adapter, and it works for a while, but after a few days the TV shows "No signal" Few trics found online to fix this, but none of them worked for long.

So, is it possible to install second Nvidia GPU, just to use it for it's HDMI port and have all three displays working? I would like to use a low-end GPU for budget reasons. Is it possible?

Solution
According to this thread on Nvidia forums, it is not possible with all grahics cards, just with some certain types.

Unfortunatelly, it is not cheap to get GPU that works like that, and you still risk that in future driver updates, it might not work.

If you have win 7,8, or 8.1 it sould work, but not in win10, which I happen to own.

So the solution is: buy a new GPU with more HDMI ports. Display ports on NVIDIA cards sucks, sometimes they work sometimes they don't, that is why, I wanted to try second cheap GPU in the first place.

I tried it today with Nvidia Geforce 210, and only one of those two GPUs were working, not both of them. Hope...

Can I get some more specific info? Like, do the manufacturers present this feature? I know it's about just 35 bucks investment, but still, how can I know for sure?
