Hello world.
I just built my first ever PC.

And then I had to take it apart.

It appeared as though two RAM slots were dead, I requested an RMA to Gigabyte, and they approved it in less than 5 hours.

I took apart my pc, took out the motherboard, and cleaned the thermal paste off the CPU and it's cooler, and I took a look at the socket, and I noticed, after a lot of squinting, that there where what appears to be bent CPU pins.

And I thought to myself: 'Son of of a B!%#'

This is my first biuld, and I may be a noob, and an idiot, but I made sure to be EXTRA careful when placing the CPU. I'm CERTAIN that I didn't bend them.

Im now worried about the RMA, I just KNOW that they are going to void my warranty, and I'm going to have to spend another $130 on a motherboard.

Is there anything at all that I can do? I'm going to need to double my anxiety pill dose after this.

Intel (pins on the board) or AMD (pins on the CPU)?

This is an Intel:
Bent motherboard pins

After - boot success
