I have a Corsair Air 240 Case and want to upgrade my CPU to a i5-4690K on a mITX board that has a GTX960 below the CPU socket. I am looking for a good air cooler that will fit I believe it needs to be 120mm or less.

I want something that is reasonable quiet but cools the CPU better then the stock intel cooler.

I was thinking a Noctua cooler. Any other suggestions, cheaper the better?

Solution
I'd look at the Noctua NH-D9L, and NH-L12. Both seem to cool pretty similarly, so it comes down to which configuration you prefer.

With the NH-D9L, depending on your RAM slot usage, you could also put a second fan on there for a push pull config.
With the NH-L12, depending on your RAM slot usage, you may not be able to use the bottom fan.

The H7 would be my go to as well but it clocks in at 145mm tall and the Corsair Air 240 has a max clearance of 120mm.

Same problem with the NH-U9S. It's coming in at 125mm.
