Hey guys,

I'm running an overclocked i7 7700k @ 4.7Ghz
I have a z270e MOBO
Oh, also have the Carbide Series® SPEC-02 Red LED Mid-Tower case
A Scythe FUMA CPU COOLER with just the two included Fans
When I stress test on CPU-Z I get a steady 80C
My idle is around 34-36C

Is this normal? If not, how do I fix it? If so, then yay!

Lemme know how it goes and stuff or if any questions need to be answered.

Solution
That's a high vcore. You should be able to run 4.7GHz at between 1.250-1.300V

I would lower your voltage, it's not necessary for 4.7 or 4.8GHz. Maybe 4.9-5.0GHz, but the cooler wouldn't handle the temps under load.

I believe I am running it at 1.375.. Was thinking about bumping the ratio/multiplier's to 48...
