Hello people of Toms Hardware, I have come here to ask you guys a couple of questions.

To start off, I am thinking of buying a ryzen 1600 and I want to overclock it. After searching around the internet I have heard good things about the tomohawk but nothing about the pro carbon. But I have also read that Almost all boards around 90-110 b350 boards are bassicly the same expect some have RGB and differnt looking heatsinks. I'm open to any other suggestions of boards but keep in mind that my budget is around 90-110 US dollars. And if you need any information about what is already in my build just ask me.

Many thanks,

Rojo

The main differences between the B350 Gaming Pro Carbon and Tomahawk are quite a few and these are...
depending on your need. If you do not need a full size board. MSI B350M gaming pro is running smoothly and can OC both CPU and RAM. It is a little bit cheaper also. Only downside is only 2 ram slots up to 32gb. If between the two, carbon is better.

The main differences between the B350 Gaming Pro Carbon and Tomahawk are quite a few and these are generally in terms of power delivery/VRMs, LAN Controller and Audio Codec, USB ports, and overall physical layout/durability (among other minor features):

Specs-for-specs, the Gaming Pro Carbon is definitely better than the Tomahawk. The former is the top-of-the-line B350-chipset mobo in the MSI line-up while the latter is more of a mainstream/mid-range B350 mobo.
