Short: Does it harm my monitor and speaker system if I just turn off the main power without going to in standby mode?
I don't know where to post/ask this, hope its correct forum. I have a comfort switcher on my system for whole pc and all connected parts like monitor and speaker system. When I power off my pc, then I click the Power button on monitor and on my speaker system, so they go to standby mode (with red light) and only then I click on the comfort switcher to take away the power from that line. If i power on with comfort switcher, then monitor and my speaker system are on automatically. I don't know if that is ok, but that is comfortable to me; I just need to power on the pc only (would be nice if it would do it automatically too, but I can do it with another power line adapter...).
So as you guess, my main question is, would it harm my speaker or monitor if I don't click to power off them before taking the main power down?
