Hey all,

I managed to spill Akasa Tim Cleaner on my motherboard and in the CPU socket (drenched), looking for some help. Am I able to turn my pc on safely with this stuff in the socket?

If not, how should I best dry it? Is it safe to use a hairdryer to blow into the cpu socket?

Any help is appreciated.

Solution
That stuff is citrus based & if you'd asked first you'd have been advised to not use it for that reason.

I have no idea if its dangerous long term , being acidic based I would have said quite possibly so.

90%+ alcohol would have evaporated on its own within minutes which is why its recommended all the time
