Hello,

Someone really generous donated too motherboards to me, the first one is fine but the second
It has bulged and leaking capacitors, they leaked so badly i had to wash the board

I want to change them, though i have no idea how i can identify capacitors and find the right ones to replace them with

These capacitors right here leaked the most, they definitely need to be replaced

These ones didn't leak but some of them are little bulged, basically, i don't trust them

Fortunately, these black ones seem absolutely fine, their top is perfectly flat

So, how can i find the right ones i can use to replace them?

I actually don't, but this is a nice opportunity to get some

since this is a socket 478 board, they can be found on ebay for less than 15$. so even if i damage it it's no big deal
Mostly, i'm doing this for the soldering experience and learning more about capacitors, even if i fix the board, i don't have a use for it

Then I would say "go for it". What have you got to lose?
