Should I Buy a GTX 970 used NOW?

Hey guys, I was just wondering if I should buy a GTX 970 off of eBay now. I have found several good offers for $170-$190 but don't want to get a card that was used for mining. Plus, should I get the 970? I have a dell with an intel i5 4440 and want to get the best bang for my buck. I have a 430W power supply and am willing to upgrade it if need be. My uncle said that I should get nothing less than a GTX 960. what are your thoughts.

Don't do used GTX 970. Get a new EVGA 1060 3gb instead for $200 and better performance plus less power consumption. 430 PSU is still OK, but try Seasonic 520W 80+ for ~$30, pricing all come from newegg.

Thanks a ton. I had been looking at the 1060 6gb version and may throw an extra $50 in to get it.
