Hi,

So, my little brother's Laptop Nvidia Drivers won't work every time he restarts his laptop. How do I know that? Well, on every restart videogames got tanked in fps, instead of 60 he gets 15fps and the game often crashes. Many games say even they dont detect the graphics card! He's been using the laptop for about 3-5 years now.

And everytime he restarts his PC I'll have to reinstall the drivers.
How do I fix that? How do I get the Drivers working after a restart?

He uses Windows 10 64bit.

I doubt you'll need any Hardware Specs because this sounds like a software issue. But if you really need it just ask me and I'll check, I do know already that it has a GTX 960m and a i5(dont know exact model, have to check if you need it).

Solution
with laptops make sure in the bios enegry savings is off and try turnig off the onboard intel video card. with the power off and battery out. flip the laptop over make sure the video card is locked in. on laptops make sure your using the laptop driver and not nvidia. the laptop uses it own bios that most 3 part video drivers wont see.
