Best Processor compatible with the MSI 890FXA-GD70

I bought a computer from basically a PC chop shop except its not illegal and they just throw stuff together. And i was given this really old motherboard and to refrain from buying an entire new motherboard and have the potential of breaking something, or something not being compatible, i would like to know the best processor for this motherboard, i was thinking of the Athlon x4 860k but ive seen posts saying you need a fm2+ cpu socket which the 890FXA-GD70 has an AM3 socket. And on the website of MSI it lists athlon x2/x3/x4 so i wanted to know about that aswell.

the 860k is not available in the proper socket. only the CPUs on the list will work. 125W max

There was a listing on MSI's website. Both FX-8350s and the FX-8370 work. I think they've since discontinued that page, because I can no longer find it!
