Currently on my gaming rig i have a Logitech Classic Keyboard 200, i know its old and time for an upgrade. i wanna make the jump to a mechanical keyboard and i feel like the K70 is the way to go because i like that i can get the RGB and assign each key a color which is great for gaming. Now the question i have is which switch to get. There is 4 choices. Blue, Brown, Red and Rapidfire. Now i like the way my 200 keyboard feels when i press the buttons and i also like to rest my fingers on the keys while i am gaming. I do not mean like a lot or pressure but just a bit. I wanna make sure i get the right switch to where i am not accidentally pressing keys by mistake. My friends are all telling me to stay away from the rapidfire because its easy to miss click with that one. I also hear that the blue is actually kind of annoying, so if true that would leave red or brown. I guess i am looking for a little insight, and hoping explaining what i was using and my habits would help narrow it down. Thanks in advance.

I have the red edition currently, and am very happy with them, they are perfect for gaming, I also used to have the rapidfire edition, for gaming it is not that good, it feels really clean to type on, but gaming wasn't much comfortable. I never had problems with accidently pressing the wrong key, but did have problems because when I don't use a key I usually rest my finger on it and I was having a hard time doing that without pressing the key, and I also always accidentally presses caps lock which got annoying. But I don't know much of the other switches just the ones of experience.

You press the wrong key with the red or with the rapidfire you use to have?

The only thing that ever happened is with rapidfire edition that when I'm not using a key ( for ex WASD keys which I have my fingers on at all times) I rest my finger on a key, and would have trouble calmly resting my finger down on the keys when I am not using it, but the slightest push would press the key down and it got very annoying, I soon switched to the Red switches and they have been PERFECT for my gaming experience so far, I have had them for about 7 months now and very happy with them and do not regret my purchase what so ever!

Yeah, thats what i was worried about. I rest my fingers on alot of keys while gaming like space bar and shift. i was worried about pressing them by mistake. A jump at the wrong time on a game like PUBG could be costly.
