Just bought a 1050ti to upgrade from a 750 Ti and I'm using an old FX 6300 because my build is ancient. Will I have to worry about bottlenecking?

Solution
It may bottleneck some in some CPU heavy titles, but in the main it will be fine. You will get better framerates with a more modern CPU, but that will require a complete platform upgrade. So I would start saving for it now cause you will need new CPU/Mobo/Ram sooner than later.

A GTX 1060 is a lot more powerful than a GTX 1050 Ti so the comparison doesn't make sense. A GTX 1050 Ti will be a decent match for an FX-6300.

I said that because i had R9 280 paired up with fx 6300,Overall performance is better in 1050ti compared to r9280 .Now my friend is using it with an i7,certainly getting better performance than i was getting.
Still i would not suggest to upgrade to another FX CPU,6300 still good for gaming.
