Hello!

I'm looking for anyone that could judge or give me some ideas on how I could improve my build.

Goals: An ultimate RGB gaming setup, I play a lot of Ark and Rainbow Six Siege and Rocket league (Yes it's overkill for those games but I like to go crazy with things like this)

Thank you!!!

Some motherboards have better VRMs to allow for better overclocking. On a cheaper motherboard, it can be harder to get stable clocks.

In my opinion, since you are new to this, get a good mid-range motherboard, just like the one you have selected. If you are planning on getting into overclocking competitions and what-not, then you can go for a higher-end motherboard, but for gaming the ASUS Strix is a good choice.

As for the hybrid cooler vs air cooler, in reality you will never see any visual difference in games. Most people cant see a difference in a few FPS. If you are benchmarking, there may be a couple of percent difference in the score, but as I...

It is a good build. I would go with a 960 EVO as a NVME SSD has better performance. I would also go for the 500gb if your budget can hold it as larger SSDs have better performance.

I would not get the Acer Z35. It is a VA panel and they don't have as good of picture as IPS. Go for the Predator x34. I have the panel and it is fantastic. Maybe the best monitor in the world. It also has some accent lighting that you can change so it will go with your RBG goal.

Hybrid cooler will cool better than an air cooler, but I would not over pay for one. Most of the non-reference style air coolers do a very good job. So don't expect a giant performance increase because you have a hybrid cooler, but it will overclock a little better because you will remove any thermal barrier.

Both of my 1080ti's are underwater and my temps never go above 50C.

Did some changes, bigger SSD (for sure you need more than 250GB and with that budget 500Gb should be minimum.
Better oc motherboard in my opinion and also better quality 1080 ti, dont go with the hybrid, most of the times they are louder than the air as the pump makes annoying pitch and the Gaming card is really good.

As for the hybrid cooler vs air cooler, in reality you will never see any visual difference in games. Most people cant see a difference in a few FPS. If you are benchmarking, there may be a couple of percent difference in the score, but as I said, in the real world there is not as big of a difference. Again, if you are wanting to do some heavy overclocking, the hybrid cooler will keep your GPU cooler than air and will remove a potential barrier from keeping you from getting higher clocks. But end the end, both will look fantastic.

As for the noise difference between the air and hybrid cooler, that depends on a lot of different factors. Most importantly your case. You have a good case selected, so it should keep noise to a minimum. I have a Enthoo Luxe and it is the best case I have ever owned. I love Phanteks cases. Another big factor in noise is the fan curve. High fan curves on air cooling will make more noise. You wont have a high fan curve on a hybrid system.

For me, noise is not a problem, even though my system is fairly quite. I game on a 5.1 sound system or I have a headset, so I never hear any of it.

The monitor you selected is on of the best monitors in the world. I own it as well and it is awesome. Does not matter what 1080ti you pair with it, it will look awesome. You will have a very nice system, so enjoy it.
