is it possible that my cpu is overheating because its warn out?

My CPU has been through a lot of stress and it has reached 100c multiple times.

I've tried many coolers, thermal pastes, relidding, and I checked the voltage. Yet, i still get high temps.

Solution
60c for an idle temp is bad. That's a load temp. But it's not idling in your first screenshot and you must have a high ambient temp for your gpu to be idling that high too.
A cpu doesn't "wear out" like that. I'd have to wonder if you just aren't getting proper contact to the cooler. 100c isn't going to be caused by a fan not working. The only way to hit that temp with stock voltages and clocks is a cooler contact issue.

what do you mean a cpu doesn't wear out. every time an electric current go thru any device working on the cpu it burns out a little. Just like a coil would burn out over time.

Im only reaching 100c when the CPU is on a stress test(AIDA64)
but, yes many fans, airflow is very good

are you getting these temps under any other types of load? besides stress testing?

I have tried multiple coolers, including the h80i v2 and two stock coolers. I've tried multiple thermal pastes and techniques to apply them but the temp never rly changed that much.

The cooler punts are the hooks that put the cooler into place right?
But yes I've made sure those were in place, I even had to add washers for the H80i v2 cause they were moving.

Have you installed the heatsink backplate on the underside of the motherboard?

It may be important to add that when I installed a cooler and pressed hard on the cooler(i wanted to see if it made a difference) my temps would increase and when stress testing I would get "hardware issue" as a message on AIDA64

When a cpu wears out enough to cause a heat issue, it would have been long dead. You'd get instability, errors, crashes, bsods long before any other symptoms. Even hitting 100c and being 100% a lot, your cpu isn't old enough to be running into issues. Unless you were 100% and hot multiple hours a day all these years.

I wasn't implying the cooler was bad. Most of the time it's just not mounted correctly. The easiest way to tell if it has proper contact is when you take off the cooler and see how the tim spread and how it was left behind.

I noticed your cpu isn't actually idling and nor is your gpu.

The hardware issue message could be from it thermal throttling so it's too broad of a message to tell if it is a sign of an issue.

I think i may have found the issue, when i re-lid my CPU i didn't put any glue or silicon to put the metal cache on. Since their originally was a space for the silicone to be glued on from before it caused the chip on the CPU and the metal lid to press against each other too hard and the thermal paste was spread away from the center. I re-applied the thermal paste and made sure not to press the cooler to hard against the CPU and im getting better temps... Although still 60c on idle

Yeah, I haven't repasted in a while, and I'm running 4.3ghz OC. Changing to a Ryzen 1700 build soon. Load temps are around 75c so not too worried at the moment.
