Hi all sorry for asking such a newbie question but im not a gamer but im a monitor freak and since im into looking at charts everyday and need multiples of monitors and also i scrape websites for limited clothes etc. Anyways what my question is, all my friends are telling me who games that im overkilling with my GPU and its a waste and i dont need it but i want the fastest speeds possible and i dont want any lags or anything and want good resolution.

(BUILD NOT DONE )System 1 6950x OCed 4.4GHZ 2 x GTX1080 or 1 x GTX1080TI?
I need it to run 2 x 4k 40 inch samsung TV 120 rate which is 60hz and 2 x 40 inch 1080p tv So will just running 1 GTX1080 non ti be able to work with 4 monitors not gaming but just watching 4k movies rarely and mostly just on the web and doing stocks etc so i need like 5~10 tabs opened on each monitors and i dont want any lags etc. Also do i need to use 2 different resolution settings since only 2 out of the 4 monitors 4k? Whats best way to do that?
Whats the best choice? 2 x 1080 which is currently what im leaning towards and sell the 1080 ti or install the 1080ti and sell the 2x 1080?

System 2 5960x OC 4.6 GHZ 2 x GTX 970 currently installed running 4 x 1080p monitors and its running fine and i dont game and barely used SLI even tho i have them connected thru the SLI bridge. Whats the best for this system? Should i just leave the 2x 970? This runs the 4x 1080p monitors fine and been using this setup for a while. But would installing 1 gtx 1080 in this PC instead of the 2x 970 be better or should i leave it as it is? Same NO GAMING AND JUST WORKING AND Many monitors and running bots and scarpers etc.

System 3 Dual Xeon 2699v4 44 core 88 thread Server i need this for my multi threaded software and use up alot of cores and threads so this is a server running windows 2012 server for my "botting" needs. It has a 1080GTX and will be using only 2~3 x 1080p so i know this will run fine but is the 1080 GTX overkill since i dont game on it? Should i put the 2 x 970 in this machine or even 1x 970 from the other system?
Would 2 x 970 perform better than a single 1080 GTX or should i just leave it?

So sorry for the confusing ass explanation. And my bad english.

So right now i have 2 x 1080GTX on the new system almost completed system 1
2 x GTX on the system 2 which is installed and running fine but wondering if its overkill for just 4 x 1080p HDTV
and for the last system i have another 1 x 1080 GTX
And i have a brand new GTX 1080 TI that i havent opened yet. So i want to make up the best choices and combo before doing the switches.

IF YOU DID NOT GAME. And had these setups and needs and the monitors. What is the best way and which video cards would be pushing which system? And if its over kill can you tell me which GPU is overkill so u can guide me to take out the gpu from system 2 and isntall in system 3 and use the gtx 1080 from system 3 and install on the system2 and leave the system1 alone or change with the 1080GTX TI and pull the 2x gtx 1080?

Any help would be helpful. Just let me kno how u would use the videos and which ones u will sell and if they will be pushing all the monitors without hiccups or lagging etc.
So 2 x GTX 1080 running 2 x 4k tv
2 x GTX 970 running 4 x 1080p TV
1 x GTX 1080 running 2 x 1080p TV
1 NEW GTX 1080TI Option to return/sell it or use it for system 1 with the dual 1080?

Anything please help me. Thank you

So, if i understand it correctly, you do not game at all? Then, amigo, you have bought a lot of expensive gaming gear for nothing. Basically any graphics card would serve you well, if all you want to do is display static apps on screen. Any $30 GPU would do that, there's no need to buy $800 GPUs. Any modern card from both AMD and Nvidia can drive 4 monitors, including 4K. So any single card would be able to drive all your monitors.
By using such expensive gaming cards, in tandems, you are wasting electricity and your money, but you're not getting any benefits. However, if you have bought all those very expensive cards until now, you surely think it's needed. I recommend you try this before you spend any more money: buy an inexpensive...

However, if you have bought all those very expensive cards until now, you surely think it's needed. I recommend you try this before you spend any more money: buy an inexpensive card (an Nvidia GT 1030, for example), and try it for a few days. If it doesn't do all you need it to do, simply return it. But most likely you will notice no difference compared to the 1080Ti. If it's good enough, and it will, i would proceed to sell all those expensive GPUs.
The 1080, 1080Ti, 970, etc are gaming cards, and can also be used to do GPU computing. That's what they are for. But to drive many monitors, they are not needed. And SLI is only used when gaming (and not even always).
