Hello

Its new PC with i7-7700k CPU, 1080 GTX GPU

NZXT Kraken x62 cooler

I am using " C A M " software. The cpu temp 32-41 at desktop without doing anything , when i opened browser and started browsing the CPU temp jumped to 44-52.

So is that normal? i just want to make sure everything is ok and normal because its new pc, I just built it yesterday.

Solution
Match the temp readings across Core Temp, HWinfo, throttlestop, and any other monitors you can find. If they're all the same, it'll be confirmed first.

Then, as I said before, use CPU-Z and Throttlestop to see what voltages the CPU operates on. It shouldn't be higher than 1.35v for default clocks.

And finally, the main test to any cooler, run any heavy CPU Benchmark/stress test and make sure the temps are all below 75C at all times.
Some of them are cinebench, intelburntest, core damage, etc should not make the CPU go higher than 75C with a watercooler.
Idle/low temps don't really matter. And finally, it could also be heat collecting inside your case as well.

So this high temp is caused by the CPU or NZXT KRAKEN ?

With an NZXT Kraken, I'd expect it to be cooler than this but kabylake CPUs run hotter than normal anyway. I have an i7 7700K which stays 40C at zero load when room temp is 25C, and 50C when room temp is 30C+.

Some mobos run at extreme vCore, mine ran at 1.45v vCore for 4.7 GHz on the first 2 weeks and temps were off the roof (98-100C during load), if you wana reduce temps further, lower your clocks and lower CPU core voltage from the BIOS. 1.3v at 4.5GHz is enough.

How i can make sure ?

Because if its from cooler i will change it and if its caused by CPU i will return it maybe

Thanks

Ya it should be cooler !

So you have the same issue ? .. 40C while on desktop only or working? and what is your cooler?

Thanks
