Thanks to Irma my PC needs fixing. The power supply for sure is shot all my PC does is start and shut down in seconds of being on. And not sure of which one I need. I have a Corsair tx 750 enthusiest power supply ATM and would like a better one since I do a lot of gaming on it but I fear I may need a motherboard too . The board is a Asus z77 extreme 4 and chip is a Intel i7 3770 all of which may need replacing but I wanna start with the power supply for sure. This is going in a phantom 410 and I need the power supply for a micro atx.

Solution
If you're not going for sli will al these do fine, you don't need 750watts to power a one gpu system. There's no difference between m-atx and atx when it comes to psu's,that only applies to cases and motherboards.
But ... if you really want a good option is this a good 750watt psu with even good efficiency on low loads,

this...
If ur looking for a better psu, pick a tier 1 psu from tom's psu tier list

I personally use the Super Flower Leadex Silver and it has served me flawlessly.

As for CPU, you could go with Ryzen 7 or the latest i7s. Dependinng on the applications you use, one could be better than the other. But ever since AMD released Ryzen, they finally offer similar ( sometimes better ) performance as their intel counterparts with lower prices.

I had a 750 so I wanna maybe stick to that or go higher budget maybe $100 or so since I may have to get one that fits my motherboard now and maybe a new one down the road.

this will say more than i can. ;)

Other very nice option under $100,

i would just stick to the Corsair which already has a 7 year warranty, will also use it in my personal Ryzen build. That said the 750watt G2 already is in one of my systems and works flawlessly. As said a very good option as well.

Ok so if I go with the Corsair tx 750 gold PSU would it work with a new better motherboard and processor? Since I'm debating on whether or not get a different mobo and do I need specific one for ryzen ? The other thing I was considering is upgrading the GeForce 750 card to a 950 or better.

Yes that would work fine,no worries. ;)

For Ryzen would you need an AMD AM4 motherboard.Something good with a B350 or X370 chipset would be my choice.

If you want to upgrade the gpu look at the gtx 1050 ti if within budget looking at "budget cards".
