Planning to build a budget pc to work in software like After Effects, Blender, Photoshop and similar ones. Also, I would like to game, but no hardcore gaming-only for like once a week. I am confused if I should pair Ryzen 3 1200 with GT1030 OR Pentium G4560 with GTX 1050ti. I saw some vids and benchmarks and am sure that both can play titles like GTA V on my desired settings decently. The question is of performance- better processor with a basic GPU or a Better GPU with an entry level processor like Pentium. I would like the best bang for the buck. Which config will give better everyday performance with 8 gigs of RAM?

Solution
The G4560 with the 1050 ti would be a much better gaming system. The R3 1200 system would be a little better in multi threaded work.

I would also say the G4560 and the 1050ti, however you are already looking at end of life for that socket and motherboard. means if you upgrade within the next couple years, you are looking at all old tech.

If you were to go with the R3 1200 and save a bit for a 1050, would be better in the long run. Amd is supporting the same socket until 2020. This would allow you to move to a newer CPU tech when it does come out from them without having to do a full system upgrade.
