Maybe it is noise, maybe it will draw too little air. But double check the fan label to see what wattage it draws, make sure the wattage is not more than 12W, usually it will not, because the fan_heater will only output 1Amp (12W) except the newer gen. MB, whcih can output up to 2Amp.

But recommend to buy the new case fan.
