I've just recieved all my parts for my computer build and i plugged everything in the right places and everything boots up perfectly fine except for when my gpu is installed. i dont use the video ports the gpu has. when the gpu is installed, the fans on the gpu start up for about 2 to 3 seconds and then it stops spinning. Then i get 3 loud beeps from my mobo. After the 3 beeps and the gpu fans turnin off, the case fans and the cpu fan still run. PLEASE HELP!!!

mobo: Msi b250m pro-vd
gpu: gtx 1050ti
psu: evga 500w bronze
cpu: intel pentium g4560
ram: ballistix 1 stick 8 gb
1tb hd

Solution

Can you put the video ports into gpu and boot again? The board should support 1050 ti, beeps mean GPU is very likely DOA. Also if you have some friends have pc, try your GPU there to confirm.

I tried to connect my tv to the hdmi video port and it didnt boot up or show any video output. I dont have any friends who have computers and are willing enough to test out my gpu on their computer.

Do you still have the beep sound when it boots up? Any lights on MB?

Sorry for super late reply, my computer finally works with gpu installed. Before sending it back to amazon, I tried using the DVI port as a last resort and to my luck, it worked perfectly fine. Thank you for replying and trying to help me in my time of need.
