GTX 1050ti Compatibility

Hello, I would like to know if a GTX 1050ti will work with my MOBO.
My specs are:
Amd phenom II x4 965
Gigabyte ga-790fxta-ud5
8GB Ram
600w PSU

Also if it works, will the CPU be a bottleneck?

Check if your Bios is UEFi or is there any UEFI update for it if there is only then the GPU will work and i dont know much about AMD Cpu
but with this GPU i dont think there is it will utilize off of your CPU and GPU properly

I was worried cause I read somewhere that GTX 10 sereies will not work with non-UEFI Motherboards.
And I am not sure if my motherboard has UEFI or not

Okay so the board does not have UEFi and nor it has any update so the card will not work

I actually installed a GTX 1070 on that system cause the PC would not boot and I was trying to find a solution and it turned out it was the Graphics card cause when I installed the 1070 it booted fine and installed the drivers automatically and it seemed to be working properly.

you mean the GTX 1070 was working on your PC? and you have installed the nvidia drivers too?

Yeah. The drivers installed automatically though with windows 10. I checked on device manager and under Display adapters it was showing the GTX 1070.

yes but does it worked after installing the Nvidia Drivers?
because i have see the card is working but after installing the nvidia drivers started creating issues becouse its not canpatable

its not written on the website and i have read it on forum googled it its gigabyte forum that there will be no support for UEFI bios for this motherboard
