My PC sometimes lags at random times. Today, when opening discord, my PC began to just lag all of a sudden for a couple of seconds. I highly doubt that the problem has anything to do with my PC specs.

PC Specs:

CPU: Intel - Core i7-7700K 4.2GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: Asus - STRIX Z270-E GAMING ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Samsung - 960 EVO 500GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive
Storage: Seagate - 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Hybrid Internal Hard Drive
Video Card: Asus - GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Video Card
Case: Thermaltake - Suppressor F31 ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA - SuperNOVA G2 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply
Case Fan: Cooler Master - SickleFlow (Red) 69.7 CFM 120mm Fan
Case Fan: Cooler Master - SickleFlow (Red) 69.7 CFM 120mm Fan

I don't know if this is related, but my PC may be pretty loud at times even when not running things.

Please Help!!!

Solution
Probably your CPU is overheating. Check your CPU temp and also make sure that your liquid cooler is working properly. If I were to guess, I'd say that the water pump of the H100i is failing. Finally you should clean your system from dust and make sure that all the fans inside your case are spinning freely.
