OK, so I just finished building a new computer. I have a copy of Win10 Home to install. I'm not sure what to do. Do I install Windows, or do I need to do something with the bios of the motherboard first?

I don't want to screw this up, so I'm hoping someone can help me out.

Thanks

Just drop the copy of windows 10 in and start the OS install. There is nothing else you can do till you get the OS installed.

After that you will need to install the drivers that come with the motherboard to get internet and a few things working. After you get an internet connection, update windows. Then you will need to install your GPU drivers.

Pending on what you want, you can change power features and what not. I suggest removing the app that reminds you to get Microsoft Office. Yeah, they have an app to tell you to get Office.

OK. I guess it pretty much explains to you what you need to do after you install windows. This is the first time I have built a computer, and don't want to screw it up

Thanks
