hdd health question

Solution
You only have 757 power on hours so I wouldn't worry too much about it now.

But yeah there is no real way to guess how long a drive will last, figure the warranty period normally for standard desktop drives.

Like was said some will last 10 years.

I have one currently with over 62,000 hours on it running 24/7, Seagate Constellation.

No way to estimate. It could fail in a week or last ten years.

You could always find the MTBF chart somewhere (Mean Time Before Failure) but otherwise don't worry unless software reports an issue, or you have some other indication like HDD noises or issues reading or writing.

The drive has no errors. It's working fine is what "GOOD" means else there would be some indication.
