Hello everyone! just wanted to know if someone is experiencing the same problem as me or maybe knows the answer to my question.. I have a GA-Z170XP-SLI mobo and I'm having problems with the USB 3.0 headers on windows 7 x64, they are working as if they were USB 2.0 (speeds about 40MBps) and I'm getting that annoying message that says this device can perform faster if connected to a 3.0 port.. the thing is that when i install windows 8.1/10 I get no problems at all it works perfectly as 3.0 (speeds up to 300MBps), but on windows 7 64 bit I get that problem.. I have installed all correct drivers from the support page and for the correct OS, i have also installed a fresh clean copy of windows... please if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it... below are my PC specs

6700K
BE QUIET DARK ROCK PRO 3
GA-Z170XP-SLI
MUSHKIN REACTOR 1TB SSD (c: drive)
SEAGATE BARRACUDA 2TB HDD (2X)
EVGA 850W SUPERNOVA PSU
EVGA GTX 970 FTW (2X SLI MODE)
CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR4 2400MHZ 32GB (2X16GB)
COOLER MASTER MASTERCASE PRO 5

It's a driver issue - - Windows 8, 8.1 & 10 all support USB 3.0 natively, Windows 7 does not.

You need to install the Win7 64-bit USB 3.0 or 3.1 drivers as appropriate from Gigabyte - - both the Intel driver and the ASmedia driver as I think that board needs both.
