There's something bothering me since I updated my NVIDIA Drivers to version 386.69.

Now and then my screen goes black and the audio goes crazy. I cannot tell when exactly, but it happens relatively frequently after I updated my drivers. I have to manually shut down my computer because even tho my computer is technically still running, Windows doesn't respond to any input.

If any of you have simmilar problems os a solution, please share because even after googling for days, I haven't found an answer yet.

My Specs:
CPU: Intel Core I3-3220
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
RAM: 4 Gb
OS: Windows 10

Solution
i dont have any kind of issued and if you have problems with that driver version doesnt meant every one has it its machine dependent and you can uninstall this current drivers and roll back to the old one

Same for me. Exactly same gpu. It occurs while playing war thunder. I tried rolling back to older drivers but same. I experienced driver faults and crashes with nvidia 1,5 years before. Hope with the next patch they will fix it!

I have had similar problems before and with this latest driver. SOLUTION: Update to the newest driver that came out today or revert to old drivers that worked. It is a problem specifically between your graphics card and the NVDIA drivers.

Always. Don't need the audio driver, don't need 3D vision, and IMHO the GFE is junkware. I do play games that use PhysX so I always install just the driver and PhysX.

I tried the previous 2 drivers and had the same issue. Then clean installed the latest (again) and it's suddenly stable again. Very weird. Maybe it's just an issue with the 4GB 760's?

I haven't tried the one that was released today yet. But I played a ton of PUBG over the weekend and it hasn't crashed once.

Hmm sometimes issue can arise when we just install new driver over the older one. When that happen i will use DDU to do clean driver install. If problem still persist i will revert back to much older driver. Though most often my issue are not with driver update but with windows update instead. Sometimes windows updates would make my game unplayable and after few updates (sometimes they can take months) my game will work once more.
