Can someone please help me with installing an AMD CPU Fan Bracket Base for AM3 socket? i had to buy another one because my old one, the MIDDLE lever in this picture(http://thumbs3.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mm_SxHVelceTm2oSH5ld1Sg.jpg) where it attaches onto broke off so now there's nothing to hold the heatsink in place. so far i believe the back plate isn't broken. i'm amusing it has one because this one on ebay that i bought (https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/41Ewoq3fKvL._SX300_.jpg) is coming with a back plate as well. can i just install the new FRONT bracket (in the first picture without taking off the motherboard) and leave the back plate that's already on. this is the first time i had to do something like this so i'm not too for sure on what to do.

Can you provide a picture of what you have and what you need replaced? Your description is confusing. The lever is part of the cooler. The backplate is screwed to the retention bracket that the lever locks onto. So I'm not sure what you need replaced.

Question from juanlovescomputers : "AM3 socket Bracket"

Does the case have a CPU cutout? Why not simply buy a replacement bracket? They don't cost much and you'll need it to install the new cooler: https://www.amazon.com/AMD-CPU-Bracket-Base-socket/dp/B006JA9PTC I corrected the Cooler Master link; click download and check the installation instructions that clearly show that it uses the original bracket.
