Hi, I recently built my PC and have encountered numerous issues with my system and would appreciate your input on the matter.

PC:
Chassis: Thermaltake The Tower 900
Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus x299 Gaming 9
CPU: Intel i7- 7820x
GPU: MSI GTX 1080 Ti Lightning X
RAM: Corsair RGB Vengeance (3466 Mhz) x4
Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 500 GB (Nvme SSD)
PSU: EVGA P2 1000W
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Cooling solution: Custom open water cooling with 560mm radiator.

I first tried overclocking the system to 5.00 GHz on 1.365 v. It passed the CPU stress test on Aida for 3 hours, max temp was 83 degrees Celcius on the hottest core. I know that's an unacceptable temperature but my CPU would never be at 100% load. At idle, the PC would be 1 or 2 degrees above ambient and during games it would run at 53 degrees max so I assume it's not thermals that are causing the issues.

Issues:
- Motherboard switching between two BIOS versions; F5 (old) and F6M (newest).
- Motherboard resetting my overclock settings so I'd have to go back and change it.
- The Motherboard would sometimes not detect my NVME SSD after tampering with the BIOS but would always be detected if I don't enter the BIOS.
- The system would freeze as I'm playing games randomly and show me the generic blue screen.

What I tried:
- Updating BIOS.
- Trying an existing profile Gigabyte suggested: 4.7 GHz at 1.26v. Freezing persisted.

At this point I'm not sure what component is flawed. I'll try to see if it's the ram by switching them around.

P.S I know that the NVME SSD issue is a pre-existing issue with Gigabyte X299 boards.
