Will a new Windows 10 install onto an SSD have bios setting of AHCI over IDE?

I've just bought myself a new SSD (Samsung Evo 250GB) And I am going to install a fresh, clean version of Windows 10 onto it. Will the sata type automatically be set to AHCI or IDE? And if it not AHCI how do I change it before Windows installs? Will be booting from a flash drive so do I need to adjust it in the bios before I start?

Solution
If you set the SATA type for AHCI then windows will use that driver when it installs. Way easier to install it correctly than try to change it afterwards.
