My current graphics (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560) card seems to be nearly dead. I was experiencing screen artifacts and BSoD often while playing games. Driver update gives BSoD, system restore, recovery, backup or anything else doesn't help. I can only run it in safe mode with low resolution. The only solution as i can see is buying a new graphics card but before that i wanna try using my integrated video card ( Intel HD Graphics 3000 ). I tried unplugging my video card but then all i receive is black screen after turning on my PC. Do i have to switch some cables? I'm a complete dummy on computers and technical stuff so i would appreciate easy explanation..

My rig:
Windows 10 Pro 64-bit
Intel Core i5-2500K
Motherboard: Z68AP-D3 (Socket 1155)
Intel HD Graphics 3000
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560

Yeah you'll need to plug your display cable into your motherboard instead of your graphics card (the 560 should currently have that cable running to your monitor if you were just using the 560)

It looks like that motherboard has all 3 of HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports so it should work no matter which kind of cord you used to have going to the 560. I'd shut everything down, then plug in the cable, then boot up. Most likely will recognize it automatically.

That being said, not sure if you'll be able to play any games on a HD 3000 integrated GPU. This should at least get your computer working though.
