Hi all,

I have overclocked my Nvidia GTX 960 M 4 GB GDDR5 GPU, with MSI Afterburner, with +135 MHz for the core clock, and +606 MHz for the memory clock speeds.

While gaming, the clocks speeds randomly go down to 405 MHz,then go back to normal, then go down again etc.

This causes stuttering while gaming!

The temps are fine, the CPU reaches around 72 degrees Celsius, the GPU around 67 degrees Celsius.

Please help me to solve the random clocks decreasings to 405 MHz!

Thanks to all in advance!
Best regards!

You listed a temp too high for me for the CPU, and stated you are having classic thermal throttling issues. Remove the OC, don't OC a laptop.

You are OCing a laptop? That's a bad idea. The cooling for those is usually barely adequate. Your CPU is also running pretty warm for a CPU. Probably because the CPU and GPU are using the same heatpipes. To save your laptop I'd honestly just run it at stock. They aren't meant to be OC'd.
