Hello,
I have Ryzen 5 1600x, Asus Prime B350 Plus, and asus dual gtx 1060 6gb oc
And my psu is seasonic s12-II 620W
When I play Battlegrounds the screen will suddenly go black and the gpu fan will become crazy loud. (But temps are normal). Ill will then have to turn off the computer via the power button.

Please, please someone help..
Also, I saw that someone fixed this by deleting their display drivers and re installing (with a special software, but dont remember name right now).
Can you do this with Ryzen? Or do you need on board graphics to go into Windows/bios and re-install (because ryzen doesn't have on board graphics, right?)
Thanks for any help :)

There are utilities that do this but all they do is automate steps you can take manually. And as often as note, drivers are newer than the tool so may not catch everything

1. Uninstall drivers and all other software related to GFX card, reboot

2. Use a registry editor to find and delete all things that say nVidia ... and NOTHING ELSE.

3. Reinstall drivers

But is it possible to go into Registery editor without drivers?? I thought you had to have a working gfx card to even boot, and most people would then use the on board graphics (which I dont have, right?)
Anyways, thanks so much for the help
Also, if you find any good tutorials on how to do this, please send me the link
Thanks :)

Decided to replace the card (just to be sure before the 14 days warrany went out), but when I install the new graphics card, if it turns out to be a driver issue what do I do then? Is it safe to do as JackNaylorPE said and delete nvidia drivers and just install them? Even if I have Ryzen? Can i reset bios and re-install windows? Will that do anything? Thanks guys :)

edit: replacing it fixed the issue

That's nice to hear ... looks like you had bad luck with the first card.

Good you didn't play around with the registry, that can result in some nasty side effects for inexperienced users ... in any case "deleting everything Nvidia" was not good advice.
