I am researching building a gaming PC, nothing too crazy but I do want a pretty powerful computer. I am completely new to this and have no idea what I'm doing. Any helpful hints any one would like to give me would be great. I have no idea which parts I should use or whether to tell if certain parts are compatible or whether or not I'm getting the most out of my computer.

$1500 is my budget, I honestly don't know about the resolution but I do want a good monitor.

You may downgrade the MB and upgrade your monitor if you want to:)
