Hello guys!

My friend is going to be building a new PC, and he asked me if I could help. So I have researched some parts, and made up a list:

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 950
MOBO: ASRock A320M-DGS
RAM: Crucial Ballistix LT DDR4-2400 SC - 8GB
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 1050 Ti LP - 4GB
Case: Thermaltake Core V1 - Black
HDD: Toshiba P300 High Performance HDWD110UZS Harddrive - 1 TB
PSU: XFX TS Series P1-500B-XTFR Power supply

600 USD is max (exc. Windows 10) that he wants to pay.

He is expecting to play GTA V at High Settings 50 - 70 FPS (1080p) and stream Netflix in 4k.

I really appreciate if you want to help me out and find an answer for me!

(I live in Denmark, so prices are about 20-25% more expensive than the US).

Thanks in advance! :)

Little confused here, you said 600 USD max yet the first build is just over 500 USD. Do you have an online vendor we can source from

or how about PCPartPicker - Deutschland?

Here are two builds, an update to yours and a Ryzen 3 build.

The update swaps for a good four RAM slot with good power phases. This way you can still add RAM to get to 16MB.
RAM is bumped up to higher speeds. Case is just a personal preference. Went to a Hybrid HDD to improve boot times. Last, you don't need even close to 600W, while XFX is usually great the TS series is not so good. Gave you one of the better budget PSU's out there.

But since GTA V is a CPU intensive game I would opt for the Ryzen 3 1200 paired with a B350 mobo instead. This will allow you to overclock to get some more performance. Also added an SSD for programs and OS.
