see i want a new gtx 1070 but the thing is the i am buying this in the next year and i cant wait to play the new AAA games so im going to buy a gtx 1050ti but as i saw that it cant max out games which is not a prob and with my current setup i dont need to change anything to go along with the gpu but as it cant max out games i am thinking to buy gtx 1060 6g but then i need to change my psu .. cpu :( so then i cant buy gtx 1070 but some may say sell it and buy but it isnt really a good option here LOL .. and even if i buy 1060 6g would it be future proof ??? but also next year NVIDIA IS VOLTA IS GONNA COME ACCORDING TO RUMORS... so it would be useless if i buy a gtx 1060 so should i buy gtx 1050ti for now and wait for the next year and see that volta is here if it is not here then should i buy gtx 1070 ?

THANKS IN ADVANCE <3

My opinion, go least expensive(1050 Ti) or get what you really want(1070).

A 1060 means the cost of the 1060 + the cost of a new power supply, and you still don't have anywhere near the 1070 performance which is your true goal.

There is a chance that the 1050 Ti will be enough for now. You might actually be happy with it. It's hard to tell since you didn't see fit to include any information on your system or the games you play.

If you don't care about max settings I think the 1050Ti would do just fine. The 1060 and 1070 are out of the question since these days they're overpriced because of the etherum mining.

In many games yes, the 1050ti can do very high. In some games you can even do some of the max settings and still clear minimums or close to 60fps, but the 1050ti is not the most powerful of cards, and some games will bog it down. It all really depends on the game engine, your cpu and the detail settings just how smooth game play is. Visually there's not much difference at 1080p between very high and ultra/max, but to the gpu it's a huge difference in power needs.
Stick with the 1050ti for now.
