Okay so some of the experts out there are saying here we go again, someone that wants to overclock and has no clue.
Well it seems with programs like MSI Afterburner, which I have, it's a bit easier.
That said, just purchased a Gigabyte G1 1070 and want to overclock it.
With MSI A.B. running and the benchmark program Valley, I attempted to tweek a bit.
Maxed the Power Limit. Slowly increased both the Core and Memory Clocks.
Eventually my screen blanked out, so reset and backed off them. Found zero changes in Valley as I applied these changes. Not sure why.
Also, and most importantly, voltage - most say to crank it up to max. Honestly with a brand new, expensive card it concerns me a bit. Some say you don't need to touch voltage, some say that even fully cranked it's not enough juice to do any damage, again, looking for advice, thanks.
