Intel E3-1220 compatibility

Hi, I am looking at parts on a website for my gaming pc and I would like to know if they are compatible with each other. I'm looking at an intel dq67sw motherboard, an intel xeon e3-1220 3.1ghz quad core, and I have an his 7870 iceq turbo 2gb 1100mhz. Are they compatible with each other? Please let me know, because I don't want to buy parts that won't work with each other.

Here is the processor compatibility list.
Intel® Xeon® E3-1220L | Frequency: 2.20 GHz is on the list.

i have a 3.1ghz not a 2.6ghz and it's an e3-1220 not an e3-1220L. But thank you for all the help anyway

No problem, compatibility depends on the motherboard supports for PCI-E 2.0 or higher.

Edit: The CPU doesn't really come into play really, it falls on the Motherboard to support the graphics card.

Thank you very much. I went on intel.com and searched the motherboard (intel dq67sw) that we were talking about earlier and it says that it has pcie x16 2.0. Thank you very much for your time.
