My friend as a gaming PC with good components, i7 7700k, gtx 1060 3gb and a 350W power supply

He gets around 20-40 fps on pubg, all low settings and I get 50-80 fps with g4560 and gtx 1050 ti.

Is the reason he's getting low fps is because of he's low power supply?

No, there is enough power to run it or the PC wouldn't even boot.

The graphics card will pull everything it can and overheat the PSU if it's not up to spec.

However a 350W PSU isn't even close to enough for that machine.

That is why I want to know what he meant by good components and then try to find the reason.

Not true. The gpu has no way of knowing a PSU cannot deliver sufficient power. What happens is the gpu draws the power/current it needs, if the psu cannot provide that amount of power you either get voltage fluctuations or complete psu failure. Voltage fluctuations will give instant stability issues or reboot. PC PSU's are quite dumb, they do not communicate with other components, just provide regulated voltage up to a certain current/wattage.

This myth has been around for year but is nothing more.

Hi, I'm having graphix error, since I have my palit 1050 Ti after that, I switch from Fx 4100 to i5 8400 then still having the same issue. Could it be the gpu or my bad PSU which is corsair VS450.

how do I post screenshot of the weird graphix error that I'm getting? thanks.! newbie here!
