Does anyone have a good driver page , like a page that doesn't ask you for money ?
If you could give me a link that has the driver archived i'd be very thankful .
Waiting on a reponse .

Your WD hard drive does not need a "driver".

Then there is a different issue.

All the cables connected?
Functional drive?
Any other info you wish to impart would help here.

Can you show us a screencap of your Disk Management window?

Yes , all cables are functional , i am trying to install Windows for a friend of mine . In his pc everything was working fine , but when i plug his hard drive in my motherboard nothing happens . Would it be any problem if he has Windows XP already installed and i have Win 7

Still confused on what you are trying to do.

But it seems that you are wanting to put his drive, in your PC, and then move his drive back to his PC?
That's not gonna work.
