Okay, when I asked this on another page, someone said the RMx series you need "CP-8920137"... are they both compatible?

According the compatibity list "Corsair PSU Compatibility:
RMi series, RMx series, SF Series, Corsair Type 4 PSU"

CP-8920137 is also compatible.

Both are compatible because they are both type 4.

Sorry, one other question. In looking at the Newegg corsair cable vs the corsair website one... Is there a difference between "Generation 2" and "Generation 3" or reason I would choose one or the other?

Each generation has a different pin out of the pay side and are not compatible with each other

Okay, sorry if I'm not understanding but then does that mean I need to know which "generation" I'll need for my particular Rmx? I've looked all through my box/manual and see none of this, whether cable # or generation, so I appreciate the help.
