hey guys. i have WD 750GB Blue 2.5" ***NEW*** in my Acer Laptop.
all S.M.A.R.T utilities shown the drive in Good, Perfect, Healthy Status.
SMART Utilities that i used for testing my drive :
Crystal Disk Info - Ashampoo HDD Control - HD Tune Pro - Hard Disk Sentinel Pro - WD Life Guard
i use my laptop all over the night and in the night silent i can hear all my drive noise and sounds.
in middle of working with corel draw and draw things without leaving mouse even 1 second i can hear my hard drive stop working and after a few seconds (5 or more) its start again.
here is my start stop count of hard drive in two days of work :
(04) Start/Stop Count 94 94 0 6558 ok

(09) Power On Hours Count 99 99 0 754 (32 Days) ok
187 start/stop in just 20 hours of working (10 Hours yesterday and 10 Hours Today)
is it normal guys? i think its not. i work with this laptop at least 4 years (with another hard drive) and never see something like this.
some interesting thing about it :
i think its just happening when i use corel draw or watch movie !
for example when i surf the web with fire fox my hard drive works without any stop and start!
is it possible or its happening all the time and i didn't notice it?
What should i do with this? leave it with this start/stop problem and use it or thinking of buy a new hard drive?
