Hi,

I recently got a new computer but am experiencing many problems.
The computer keeps crashing on me while surfing web and I receive a BSOD screen with the error code: Video_Scheduler_Internal_Error.

Also, when I launch a game I experience a couple seconds of game play until the screen freezes but game continues (I can tell this by playing with the sound only).

I have so far tried all sorts of things including update/rolling back drivers, testing GPU in other computer (Works fine), etc...
I think it might be because the hardware is new and requires software to catch up.
Also could be a compatibility issue.

If anyone had similar problems and know a fix, please tell me.

Specs are: https://pricespy.co.nz/list.php?l=252346&view=m

Thanks

Could be many things. First, let's eliminate the basics:

Download memtest, boot into it, tell us if you get any errors.

Install GPU-Z, tell us what type of temps you are getting. Run a stress test, like furmark, and tell us how hot it gets, if it crashes.

Hi,

I tried running the stress test with no luck. Crashed after a second of it running.

Gonna try memtest tomorrow. I have done that once before but only let it complete a couple passes before stopping it as I got no errors.

Did you ever fix this issue?

Yep, I did.

Turns out it was a compatibility issue with my RAM. I sent it back and they gave me a new set that was compatible. (Thanks DTC Systems New Zealand).

I plugged the new set in and it worked fine.

Strangely though on the Gigabyte website they said it was compatible. Anyway, It works now great.

Hope that helped,
Micah

So, originally I got this set of 2 sticks of 8gb RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black DDR4 PC19200/2400MHz CL14 2x4GB (CMK8GX4M2A2400C14)

On the Gigabyte (I bought a Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3) website it says that both this set should work, I even emailed them to ask.

I then got this kit: Kingston Technology HyperX FURY 2400MHz DDR4 Non-ECC CL15 DIMM 8 DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) HX424C15FBK2/8

It seems to work great!

Hope you get your system working soon. Ask for more if you need it.

Thanks, Stumble
