Hello,
So my pc has [strike]splitted[/strike] separate [strike]audio slots[/strike] jacks for mic and sound but my earphones and headphones have combojack.
We dont sell these splitters in my country cause i live in an island and no one really cares about that and the rare places they sell is very far from my house with a 10$ price when it is less than 1$ on ebay.I dont wanna wait 2 months to receive the splitter so i have like 4 earphones and one headphones.I can easily make the sound works but if i connect it in the microphone slot it wont read the microphone.(note:wanna use a earphones for sound and another for the microphone)
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

You may be stuck, so to speak, with limited options and resources.

However, google "TS, TRS, TRRS" (Tip, Sleeve, Ring).

Figure out the types of connections with respect to your earphones and the available jacks and ports.

Many products in the past may have included adapters such as you need. And other combination adapters as well.

Perhaps from an older set of earphones owned by a family member or friend.

Could be a able to connect a couple of different adapters together to end up with the necessary connectivity. Or perhaps splice together the wiring to achieve the same end effect.

Look for drawings and diagrams. Hopefully you will be able to find a way to achieve the required connections.

Audio ports are 3.5mm (1/8") correct?

By combo jack you mean a TRRS plug at the end of the headphones/microphone set. And by splitter you need an incoming female TRRS port in and two plugs TR and TRS coming out: one for the mic and one for the stereo audio ports on the pc.

I may be oversimplifying the situation but wondering if you have just a standalone microphone with a plug matching the mic jack on your pc?

You should be able to use that microphone and disable the current "microphone" if any that shows up when the headphones/earphones with the built-in microphone are plugged in.

And depending on the current drivers and configuration you may need to go into the properties windows for Playback devices and Recording devices.

Change "Device usage" setting to use or not use.

Well your reply is a bit complicated for me.But in general the situation is:
I have all my earphones with 3.5mm ports
I wish to use a microphone on my computer. When i connect the earphone in the audio slot i only get audio, when i connect it in the microphone slot i get no audio and the microphone isnt detected.I did research and found i need an adapter with 3.5mm input and 2* 2.5mm output. But i cannot get these adapters,a standalone microphone isn't possible either.I wish to use the built in microphone that are in my earphones.
