Laptop restarts whenever i'm playing a game.

So I just got Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and i've been playing it for awhile with no problems along with pubg. Now starting as of September 22nd I haven't been able to play either game without it restarting my whole laptop. The screen looks like something similar to this http://cdn.patch.com/users/222659/2012/06/T800x600/448ceb2851e27a7226a4253dfaee187b.jpg before it restarts. One time I got a red screen...

PC specs:
- Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
- Nvidia GTX 1070
-16GB RAM
- Windows 10 Home
Also this is a brand new laptop
If anyone knows how to solve this issue it would be much appreciated :)

A friend of mine told me to try playing the game without it being plugged in to the charger and that seemed to work. I even plugged the charger back in while i was playing and it didn't restart my computer so I might have to get a new charger in the future if it continues to cause issues.
