is my gaming pc safe with vs450w?

My specs:
intel i5 6400
Asus gtx 1060 3gb oc edition
Gigabyte h110M-S2
Corsair vengeance 8gb ddr4
Corsair vs 450w
WD blue 1 TB SSD

Is my pc okay with that psu?and do i need to change my psu?,if so can anyone recommend me a cheap but good quality psu.The psu i currently have is not showing any kind of trouble.i bought it because it was 80+ bronze certified.

The only problem that I'm facing is that most of my games are just lagging.I don't know what causes these lags.I checked and there is no bottleneck,updated my drivers.I tried the settings to low but the games just lags too much.Is the psu causing them?.i have been using it for 6 months now.do i need to change my psu immediately? and sorry for the newbie Q.



 
No, its not safe, a low tier PSU usually doesn't have safety measures

i suggest u change it into a tier 1/2/3 at very most
the Corsair CX550M (gray label) is better than that PSU (and safer)

no, unless the PSU doesn't supply enough power to the rig, which cause underclocking, it won't affect performance
do u have any info about the hardware usage during gaming session?

The VS is considered the worst series Corsair offers. They are known not to last long(especially in a warm enviroment) but aren't known to be system killers(but it is possible abiet a remote one). The 80 plus ratings are only effciency ratings and should not be used to gauge psu quality. No need to replace asap but it's something you should think about.

What is the GPU usage in game if the CPU is at 100%?
 


how's the temperature?
might be thermal throttling there

if the GPU usage doesn't reach 90-100 too while the CPU does, it's a CPU bottleneck, although i don't think it is, since the i5 is pretty good, and the game aren't really that demanding
 


u can use apps like MSI afterburner etc to check for temps, CPU-Z can be used to

we also need the CPU temps, the GPU temps is pretty normal there, but it's the CPU that is maxing out, so we need the CPU's temp instead :)
